Triple Tea Drop

Triple Tea Drop

13″ x  17″  Triple Tea Drop is an assemblage in my teapot series. This hanging sculpture is my favorite whimsicle tea time piece. The triplet teacups came from Goodwill and the antique yellow tin teapot from my favorite antique mall. The “tea” is made of beads and chain, pouring freely with enough to spare.

A Spot in Stripes

A Spot in Stripes

8″ x 8″  A Spot in Stripes is an assemblage piece in my tea pot series. The base is a scrollwork metal wire box top found at the goodwill. The tiny tea cup is bold in stripes and creates a fun flare I couldn’t resist. The spot of “tea” created of sequins, wire and beads, pours from a blue antique tin tea pot.

Green Tea

Green Tea

10 1/2″ x 7″  Green Tea is an assemblage piece in my tea pot series. An antique single serve tin tea pot pours green tea in the form of old dressmaker sequins. A sweet china tea cup adorned with green roses catches the tea and offers it up. An antique candlestick from Italy gives graceful height to the piece.
