4 1/2″ x 7″ Lady Buxton is an assemblage in my people series. She lives in an antique jewelry case, from which she gets her name. She gets her form from an antique pressed powder compact and bits of old jewelry, including her fabulous legs – an iconic pendant from the 70’s.
Earring bits make up her hands and feet. A heart pendant in reverse has become her face, surrounded by drawer pull “hair”. This piece is posted for day 16 of Art Every Day Month. By Heather Brush. For sale.
