5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ Ink, Poured is an assemblage. Charles Dickens has likely never been used so, but his words (among others’) cover the outside of a wooden box, and are found amidst the ink pouring from a purple antique ink jar. The inside of the box is plastered with blank page bits from the same antique book (not a complete Dickens work, but an anthology of segments from great works of fiction). Paying tribute to those authors who pour ink onto blank canvas and create wonder. The ink is created of beads, velvet, lines from the book and string.
